Portsmouth Beer Week continues; Portsmouth School kids off during February school vacation week; partly sunny day in the forecast.
1. Today's weather: The National Weather Service is calling for a partly sunny day, with a high near 40. On Monday night, it will be partly cloudy with a low around 26.
2. February school vacation week: Portsmouth School kids are off this week for their annual February school vacation week.
3. Portsmouth Beer Week on tap: Portsmouth Beer Week continues through March 4.

4. Story time at library: The Portsmouth Public Library will offer story time on Monday from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. that allows children ages 3- to 6 years old to hear stories, sing songs and play games. The event is free and open to library members. All children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
5. AARP to offer free tax assistance: The AARP will offer Portsmouth area residents free 2012 income tax return preparation assistance at the Portsmouth Public Library through Sunday, April 14. The service will offered from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Sundays. People should call 2-1-1 to make an appointment and walk-ins are also welcome.
