North span float in photos and video coming; daylight saving time this weekend; some rain and snow in the forecast.
1. Today's weather: The National Weather Service is calling for a chance for some snow and rain with a high temperature of 38 degrees. On Wednesday night, there will be chance for more snow with a low temperature of 31 degrees.
2. North span float in: According to Archer Western Contractors, the north span of the new Memorial Bridge was expected to be floated in to the Kittery, Maine side of the Piscataqua River early Wednesday morning. Look for our photos and video of what the north span looks like in its new home.
3. PHS Clippers in NHIAA: The Portsmouth High Clippers Boys and Girls basketball teams hope to both capture 2013 NHIAA Division II crowns in this year's tournament.

4. Daylight saving time this weekend: Believe it or not, it is almost to to spring ahead with daylight saving time beginning on Sunday, March 10. Before you go to bed on Saturday, March 9, remember to turn your clocks ahead one hour.
5. AARP to offer free tax assistance: The AARP will offer Portsmouth area residents free 2012 income tax return preparation assistance at the Portsmouth Public Library through Sunday, April 14. The service will offered from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Sundays. People should call 2-1-1 to make an appointment and walk-ins are also welcome.
