Fugitive Arrested on Lafayette Road

The following information was provided by the Portsmouth Police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Friday, Nov. 15 to Sunday, Nov. 17.

Friday:

  • At 12:55 p.m., police reported truancy on Pleasant Street.
  • At 1:38 p.m., police arrested a Rochester man on Lafayette Road who was wanted as a fugitive from justice. Jonathan Lacount, 23, of 21 Norway Plains Road, Apt. 14, was arrested on a warrant.
  • At 2:12 p.m., police reported a hit and run accident on Islington Street.
  • At 5:33 p.m., police reported a bicycle theft on Dover Street.
Saturday:
  • At 1 a.m., police reported a fight on Daniel Street.
  • At 1:39 a.m., police reported an iPhone theft on Market Street.
  • At 1:53 a.m., police reported a deer was struck by a motor vehicle on Grafton Road.
  • At 4:54 a.m., police arrested a North Hampton man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice on Borthwick Avenue. Richard Anthony Kobylarz, Jr., 42, of 183 Lafayette Road was wanted for false public alarm.
  • At 12:27 p.m., police reported an unattended death on Desfosses Avenue.
  • At 2:36 p.m., police reported a two-car accident on Ocean Road.
  • At 2:48 p.m., police reported a motor vehicle theft on State Street.
Sunday:
  • At 12:39 a.m., police reported disorderly conduct on Congress Street.
  • At 2:35 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth woman who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after she turned herself in at the police station. Sara Lamery, 18, of 698 Middle Road was wanted for unsworn falsification.
  • At 2:45 a.m., police reported a simple assault on Market Street that resulted in two male subjects being treated at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.
