Ghosts on the Banke Returns This Weekend
Strawbery Banke's annual Halloween celebration gives families a safe and fun place to trick or treat this Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Ghosts on the Banke makes its howling return this Friday and Saturday at Strawbery Banke and is a great way for families to start their Halloween celebrations.
The event runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on both days and features lit jack o'lanterns and lanterns along the walkways of the historic museum grounds. Pirates and historic characters from the past will be waiting inside each of the historic homes to tell some chilling ghost stories and a warm bonfire will be burning outside. According to Strawbery Banke's web site, visitors can:
- Trick or Treat Safely at the Museum's Historic Houses
- Jack-o-Lantern Lit Laneways
- Wandering Werewolves & Ghostly Graveyards
- Beware the Haunted Hemlock Grove
- For a treat you'll be afraid to eat - Visit the Old Witch's House!
- Snuggle up for a spooky Halloween Movie
- Warm Your weary Bones by the All Hallows Eve Bonfire
Tickets cost $6 per person. Members can receive a free ticket by donating a carved pumpkin.
