As most city residents know, there is never a shortage of fun things to do or places to go in Portsmouth. Each Friday, we will offer five suggestions for people who are planning out their weekends.
1. See the Watkinsonics tonight: The Seacoast band, The Watkinsonics, will be playing their soul, r&b, pop, and funk style music at the Thirsty Moose Tap House on Friday from 9 p.m. to midnight.
2. Check out "How I Learned to Drive": "How I Learned to Drive" by Paul Vogel continues its run at the Players Ring this weekend. According to the theater's web site, the play tells the bizarre love story between Li’l Bit and her Uncle Peck. Li’l Bit, played by rising star Jess Miller, presents a jarring look into the rear view as she relives her childhood and adolescent experiences with Peck, played by Seacoast favorite Chris Savage.
