Hampton Woman Sent to Prison for Bank Robbery
Danielle Reader drove the getaway car in robbery of $9,000 from two bank robberies in 2013.
A Hampton woman was sentenced to 46 months in prison for two counts of aiding and abetting bank robbery.
U.S. Attorney John P. Kacavas said Danielle Reader, 31, was sentenced for her role in driving the getaway car during two bank robberies on April 3 and April 20, 2013.
After her accomplice handed a teller a note demanding money, the two fled with Reader behind the wheel.
Reader and her accomplice stole more than $9,000, according to the U.S. Attorney's office.
U.S. District Court also imposed three years of supervised release and full restitution.
