Jarrod Saltalamacchia, Sam Fuld to Headline Hot Stove Dinner
Boston Red Sox catcher and Tampa Bay Rays outfielder will be in Portsmouth Friday night for Seacoast Mavericks dinner and silent auction.
The Seacoast Mavericks Hot Stove Dinner and Silent Auction on Friday night will feature two Major League Baseball players who will give the event some real star power.
Boston Red Sox catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia and Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Sam Fuld, a Durham native, will be in the city to help the Mavericks raise money for Portsmouth area charities.
Seacoast Mavericks President Mike Daboul said the banquet will take place at the Residence Inn's Harbor Events Center. He said VIP sponsorships are still available and give those patrons a chance to get access to the Mavericks' private suite for photos and autographs with Saltalamacchia and Fuld.
