Jury Weighs Case Against Alleged Pimp

A Rockingham County Superior Court jury is now weighing the case against a Massachusetts man who allegedly pimped a 16-year-old runaway from Nashua who was arrested in a Portsmouth motel room in 2010
The Union Leader reported Thursday that Jean Payoute, 24, of Hyde Park, Mass. is facing three counts of felony prostitution. The newspaper reported that jurors began their deliberations Thursday morning and they were presented evidence by Assistant County Attorney Patricia Conway from an alleged accomplice, Wayne Miller, that linked Payoute to the Portsmouth motel room in October 2010 where the alleged prostitution activity was set to occur.
