Man Calls Police After Girlfriend Refuses to Give Back Computer

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Tuesday, Dec. 10 and Wednesday, Dec. 11.
Tuesday:
- At 8:49 a.m., police reported truancy on Wedgewood Road after a Robert J. Lister Academy student did not arrive at school.
- At 9:20 a.m., police arrested a Kittery, Maine man for multiple fraud charges. John Macy Rummler, 65, of 6 Chauncey Creek Road was charged with two counts of theft by unauthorized taking, two counts of forgery and two counts of securities licensing requirements.
- At 10:25 a.m., police reported another truancy complaint on Marriette Drive.
- At 3:57 p.m., police reported a two-car accident on Lafayette Road without injury.
- At 4:13 p.m., police reported a theft on Market Street after the caller said his girlfriend refused to give back his computer after he let her use it.
- At 4:28 p.m., police arrested a Hampton man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after he turned himself in at the police station. Carl Hendrickson, 48, of 3 Presidential Drive, Apt. 205, was wanted for default or breach of bail conditions.
- At 5:41 p.m., police reported a two-car accident on Lafayette Road without injury.
- At 6:14 p.m., police reported criminal mischief at Beechstone Apartments after the caller said some tires were slashed on a Portsmouth Taxi cab.
