Kittery Rolls Out New Website
Town officials give Kittery residents a new virtual place to stay in the loop about everything happening in the community.

The Town of Kittery has a new website that provides an easier way for town residents and visitors to stay in the loop about everything that is happening in the community.

The new website made its debut earlier this week and it features user-friendly navigation, several links to various town businesses, civic groups and town departments, town history and a new town meeting calendar. There is also a link that provides updates about Kittery Department of Public Works projects.
The new website also includes a complete list of town meeting agendas and minutes. There are also user-friendly links for the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard website as well as the websites for U.S. Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, U.S. Sen. Olympia Snowe, R-Maine, and U.S. Rep. Chellie Pingree, D-Maine.

The new website also features new streaming video and media for upcoming Town Council meetings and other board meetings so that town residents can watch those proceedings live.

Ice skating at Fort McClary: For Kittery families who want to get out and do some ice skating, the small rink located across Pepperel Road from Fort McClary is in perfect condition. There is no charge and it is a great place for families who want to teach their children how to ice skate.
Get fit: Need a cure for the winter blahs and want to get in shape? The Kittery Community Center at Frisbee Commons is currently offering several classes of Pilates, Yoga and Nordic fitness walking. Contact the community center to register at (207) 439-8300 or online.
