There are just seven days left to shop at K-Mart on Woodbury Avenue.
On Monday afternoon, the inside of the store was full of empty shelves where merchandise was once sold.
The remaining clothes, accessories, tools and housewares were being sold for 60- to 70 percent off.
When the store closes it doors for good on August 12, more than 40 full time and part time employees will be put of work. The Sears Corp., which is K-Mart's parent company, announced in May it would close the Portsmouth store as part of a nationwide consolidation plan.
