Live Music, Comedy and Ice Fest on Tap This Weekend
Mike McDonald Comedy Xxtravaganza and Soul Rebels at the Music Hall; Ice Fest continues at the Gas Light; Ed Gerhard performs special Valentine's concert at The Rep.
As most city residents know, there is never a shortage of fun things to do or places to go in Portsmouth. Each Friday, we will offer five suggestions for people who are planning out their weekends.
1. Mike McDonald Comedy Xxtravaganza: Mike McDonald returns to the Music Hall on Friday night with several other comedians to perform Mike McDonald's Comedy Xxtravaganza. Paul D’Angelo, Robbie Printz, Mike Whitman and George Hamm round out a funny comedy troupe. Tickets are $37 and $34 each.
2. Soul Rebels at Music Hall: The Soul Rebels will perform their unique sound of Mardi Gras funk, rock, and reggae to the Music Hall on Sunday night at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $22 each.

3. See Tan Vampires with Old Abram Brown: The Press Room will rock on Saturday night when Tan Vampires with Old Abram Brown takes the stage at 9 p.m. There is a $5 cover charge.
4. Ed Gerhard at the Rep: Ed Gerhard will perform a Valentine's Day concert on Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Seacoast Repertory Theatre.

5. Ice Fest at the Gas Light: Ice Fest continues this weekend with plenty of live music, luge, great food and fun at the Portsmouth Gas Light Co. All door proceeds will be donated to Strawbery Banke Museum, the Seacoast Repertory Theatre and Pro Portsmouth.
