Live Music, Theatre and Portsmouth Beer Week

As most city residents know, there is never a shortage of fun things to do or places to go in Portsmouth. Each Friday, we will offer five suggestions for people who are planning out their weekends.

1. Portsmouth Beer Week begins: Beer lovers will have three more days to express their love of all things brew during Portsmouth Beer Week. Check out the event's website to get a complete rundown of the remaining events.

2. Need some laughs?: Then check out Ryan Clauson's comedy show at the Music Hall Loft on Saturday at 7 p.m. Tickets are $24.

3. Don't miss Christa Renee Band with Kalen: The Press Room will feature the Christa Renee Band with Kalen on Saturday at 9 p.m. There is a $5 cover charge.

4. See "A Chorus Line" at The Rep: The musical "A Chorus Line" will have its opening weekend at the Seacoast Repertory Theatre beginning this Friday night at 8 p.m.

5. "Book of Snow" at Players' Ring: If you're in the mood for some drama, "Book of Snow" will be performed this weekend at the Players' Ring theatre with shows on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 2 p.m.
