Marine Patrol, Others Searching For Piscataqua Jumper In Portsmouth
Around 10 a.m. Wednesday, someone jumped from the high level bridge, according to New Hampshire State Police. They have not yet been found.

PORTSMOUTH, NH — New Hampshire State Police and others are searching for a person who jumped from the high level of the Piscataqua Bridge on Wednesday.
Around 10 a.m., state police began receiving reports about a jumper in Portsmouth. A passing motorist saw, according to Tyler Dumont, the public information officer for the state police, “an unknown individual climb over the metal railing of the bridge and jump towards the water.”
Emergency personnel, he said, began searching the water for the person. They included state police, Portsmouth police, New Hampshire Fish & Game, New Hampshire Marine Patrol, and the U.S. Coast Guard.

As of Wednesday afternoon, Dumont said, the investigation remained active and ongoing.
