My Breast Cancer Support Receives $36K From Board Of Realtors
It was the second year in a row the Seacoast Board Of Realtors chose to honor My Breast Cancer Support as its Charity of Choice.
PORTSMOUTH, NH — The Seacoast Board of Realtors gifted $36,000 to My Breast Cancer Support.
It was the second year in a row the organization chose to honor MBCS as its Charity of Choice. In 2023 some $39,000 was presented to MBCS.
The SBR Community Outreach Committee annually chooses a local charity to focus fundraising efforts. To that end, the SBR raises money through their Installation gala, shoe drive, and more. Realtors also volunteer at their charity of choice. Additional funds were raised during their annual golf tournament chaired by Stuart Frye and Brandon Doucette.

Led by New Hampshire Realtors, Laura Pouliot and Amanda Patterson, the Seacoast Board of Realtors’ Community Outreach Committee further supported the mission of MBCS by coordinating emotional support in the form of Notes of Hope, hand-made bracelets, gift-card drives, and volunteering.
“We are proud to be a part of such a generous community,” Pouliot said,“including our members, affiliates, friends, and families who helped make this happen.”

“But more importantly” she added, “we’re grateful to know that these efforts are making a positive difference to those affected by breast cancer.”
MBCS is a seacoast New Hampshire 501c3, aiding individuals with breast cancer. Over the past 10 years MBCS has provided $1.22 million dollars in financial support to families in need.
“The Seacoast Board's annual partnership with a local non-profit organization is a rewarding way to serve the community,” SBR President Lynn Lagasse said. “Through our fundraising efforts and our participation in the organization's events, our hope is to provide support to help these organizations meet their goals and commitments.”
