New City Restaurant to Open Downtown

For former Bodhi Thai Bistro patrons who were disappointed when the restaurant suddenly closed on Feb. 1., a new Thai restaurant will soon take its place on Pleasant Street.

A sign posted on the front door of the former Thai restaurant says that "5 Thai Bistro" will open for business in March after interior renovations are completed. Some of the people who were involved with the Bodhi Thai Bistro that opened last summer are said to be involved in the new restaurant venture.

where the former Sakurabana Japanese restaurant was formerly located, closed it doors at the very beginning of February and only indicated that it would reopen following renovations.

Attempts to reach the restaurant owners for comment on Wednesday were unsuccessful.
