DURHAM, NH — The Three Chimneys Inn is the most beautiful restaurant in the Granite State, according to a new 50-state list from People Magazine.
People said the 50 Most Beautiful Restaurants in America list was developed by OpenTable to celebrate the magazine’s 50th anniversary.
“These super-stylish stunners deliver unforgettable dining experiences,” People said. “There are mountaintop chalets with modern rustic touches, glammed-up Art Deco mansions with a view, and mirror-and-glass paneled sky-high stunners.”

People said of Three Chimneys Inn, located in Durham, it offered “three ultra-cozy rooms — hello, fireplaces — to enjoy this historic inn’s take on traditional New England fare.”
Restaurants in surrounding states that got the nod as the most beautiful include the Earth at Hidden Pond in Kennebunkport, Maine, which was highlighted for its cozy vibe; Wusong Road in Cambridge, Massachusetts, for its 1970s-era peacock chairs and tropical wallpaper; and The Hermitage Inn in Dover, Vermont, which offers both upscale and laidback eating environments.
