Newmarket Man Indicted On 11 Child Rape Charges: Court Roundup

Maine man indicted on 8 child rape charges; Mass. man indicted on assault on corrections officer charge; Portsmouth, Salem drug indictments.

BRENTWOOD, NH — A Rockingham County grand jury indicted the following people recently.

Glen R. Richards, 29, of Gordon Avenue in Newmarket on felonious sexual assault and 11 aggravated felonious sexual assault charges, all felonies. He was accused of repeatedly raping and fondling a girl between March 1, 2017, and Sept. 31, 2020, in Newmarket and Raymond.

Nicole V. Carreau, 31, of Leon Avenue in Manchester on possession of fentanyl and possession of methamphetamine charges, both felonies, in Londonderry on June 24, 2023.

Benjamin Edward Carton, 36, of Harriman Road in Raymond on a felony possession of cocaine charge in Danville on April 7, 2023.

Walter S. Chase, 59, of Averill Road in Prentiss, Maine, on simple assault, endangering the welfare of a child, and eight aggravated felonious sexual assault charges. He was accused of raping and fondling a girl repeatedly between Sept. 1, 2010, and Dec. 31, 2014, in Greenland and striking the girl between Sept. 1, 2013, and Dec. 31, 2014, in Greenland.

Sarah Elizabeth Chouinard, 30, of Elizabeth Drive in Boscawen on a felony possession of meth charge on Feb. 5, 2023, in Portsmouth.

Tyrome J. Coleman, 45, of Border Street in Boston, Massachusetts, on a felony assaults by prisoners charge. He was accused of strangling a Rockingham County corrections officer on Dec. 23, 2022, in Brentwood.

Timothy Kenneth Converse, 62, of Route 27 in Raymond on a felony driving while certified as a habitual offender charge. He was accused of driving on Route 27 in Raymond on May 3, 2023, after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV.

Thomas A. Conway, 53, of Ironhorse Drive in Bedford on a possession of meth charge on Jan. 18, 2023, in Salem.

Christopher Copp, 37, of Union Avenue in Laconia on a felony felon in possession of a deadly weapon charge. He was accused of possessing a billy club in Salem on July 6, 2023, after being convicted on a drug charge in Belknap County in October 2006.

Rebecca Joy Cormier, 43, of London Road in Westmoreland on a felony possession of fentanyl charge on Sept. 24, 2022, in Londonderry.

Ruben Correa Jr., 21, of Goldsmith Court in Methuen, Massachusetts, on a felony criminal threatening with a deadly weapon charge. He was accused of pulling out a knife, raising it over his head, and pointing it toward another person during an argument in Salem on Aug. 4, 2023.

Bretton R. Crawford, 31, of Rockingham Village in Seabrook on two felony felonious sexual assault charges. He was accused of sexually assaulting a girl between Sept. 2 and Nov. 10, 2022, in Seabrook.

Christopher J. Cross, 56, of 6th Street in Union Beach, New Jersey, on identity fraud and theft by deception charges, both felonies. He was accused of posing as another to withdraw funds, $4,500, from an M&T Bank on April 14, 2023.
