NH Governor Race Set: Molly Kelly Vs. Chris Sununu
Former State Senator Molly Kelly handily defeated Steve Marchand for the Democratic nomination for governor and will now face Chris Sununu.

CONCORD, NH — Former State Senator Molly Kelly defeated Steve Marchand to capture the Democratic nomination for governor in Tuesday's New Hampshire primary. Kelly defeated Marchand handily, winning 66 percent of the statewide vote compared to Marchand's 34 percent, according to The Associated Press. Marchand is a former Portsmouth mayor.
"Thank you, New Hampshire," Kelly said in a tweet. "I will fight for you every single day so we can build a NH that works for everyone, not just a few. We’re going to show everyone what is possible this year."
Kelly will now face incumbent Republican Governor Chris Sununu, who ran unopposed Tuesday. The election is November 6. Sununu is wrapping up his first term as governor and seeking re-election.
