Police Charge Concord Man with Drug Possession
Portsmouth Police supplied the following arrest information.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Wednesday, Oct. 3 to Thursday, Oct. 4
Wednesday:
- At 11:53 a.m., police arrested a Concord man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after he was detained at the New Hampshire Probation Department office. Karvin A. Demby, 37, of 281 North State St. in Concord was wanted for resisting arrest or detention, falsifying physical evidence and two counts of possession of controlled narcotic drugs.
- At 11:58 a.m., police arrested a Randolph, Mass., man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after he turned himself in at the police station. Ernest I. Waters, 31, of 14 Flintrock Road in Randolph, Mass., was wanted for riot, simple assault, and disorderly conduct.
- At 4:05 p.m., police arrested four juveniles, ages 14, 15, 16, and 17, for attempt to commit shoplifting at a Woodbury Avenue business.
- At 4:37 p.m., police reported a theft of a computer valued at $1,000 on Penhallow Street.

- At 8:53 a.m., police reported the theft of another computer valued at $1,000- to $1,500 from Penhallow Street.
- At 2:33 p.m., police reported the theft of a television set valued at $598 on Lafayette Road.
- At 8:45 p.m., police reported the theft of a box of checks on Edmond Avenue where some had been forged and cashed.
