Portsmouth Ranked Second-Best Place To Live In NH
Portsmouth was highlighted for its high incomes and low unemployment rate by the rankings site HomeSnacks.
PORTSMOUTH, NH — A recent survey has confirmed what Portsmouth residents probably already know — the Port City is one of the best places to live in New Hampshire. Portsmouth was ranked No. 2 on the "Best Places to Live in New Hampshire For 2019" survey by the rankings site HomeSnacks. Hanover was ranked No. 1.
The survey was based on Census data, FBI crime statistics, home values, incomes and health insurance coverage. Portsmouth was highlighted for its low unemployment rate, high household incomes and low crime rate.
"With the unemployment rate being the 2nd lowest in New Hampshire and very stable household median incomes, it’s easy to see why someone would want to live in Portsmouth" HomeSnacks wrote.
