
A Portsmouth recycling firm at Pease International Tradeport just completed a major expansion project, according to RubberNews.com.
The online business trade journal reported that Poly Recovery L.L.C. has just completed a 15,000 square-foot expansion after the company purchased a building located next door to its facility on Aviation Drive.
According to RubberNews.com, the recycling firm will soon add more sorting lines and hire 14 more employees to bring its workforce to 30 people. As a result of the expansion, Poly Recovery, LLC CEO John Pelech told RubberNews.com the firm will not be able to reprocess about 68 million to 70 million pounds of various plastics a year, which is up from 25 million to 30 million.
