Tenant Trash Trouble Downtown Leads to Police Call
The following information was provided by the Portsmouth Police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Sunday, Dec. 8 and Monday, Dec. 9.
Sunday:
- At 11:46 a.m., police reported a two-car accident on Lafayette Road without injury.
- At 6:10 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Penhallow Street after a caller said there was some graffiti on a building.
- At 6:20 p.m., police took a walk-in theft report with a suspect.
- At 6:59 p.m., police reported the theft of two scooters on Springbrook Circle.
- At 7:33 a.m., police reported an accident on Court and Middle streets where a vehicle struck a street lamp.
- At 8:55 a.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident where a driver struck a mini-school bus with a child on board on Hillside Drive and Greenleaf Avenue without injury.
- At 2:05 p.m., police reported a landlord/tenant dispute on Market Street after the caller said someone had put trash against her front door that prevented her from being able to get out.
- At 4:01 p.m., police reported a gas drive off theft on Lafayette Road.
- At 5:41 p.m., police reported a single car accident on Lafayette Road after a vehicle was spotted in a ditch.
- At 11:48 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth woman following a domestic incident on Osprey Drive. Rayleene Zadlo, 37, of 162 Osprey Drive was charged with simple assault.
