Portwalk Place Announces Office Leases
Office component of mixed-use space in Portsmouth reaches 70 percent occupancy.

In conjunction with the strong demand for the Aria at Portwalk Place luxury apartments, Portwalk Place has leased 70 percent of its 10,000 sq. ft. of class A office space to Steward Partners and Raymond James, two nationally recognized financial service companies. These financial firms occupied the pre-leased downtown office space in early November and are now open for business.
Steward Partners is an employee-owned, full-service partnership catering to family, institutional and multigenerational investors. Their services include comprehensive wealth planning and investment strategy, professional asset services, private banking and institutional consulting.
Raymond James is a leading diversified holding company providing private client group, capital markets, asset management, banking, and other services to individuals, corporations, and municipalities. The firm has some 6,200 financial advisors serving in excess of $2.5 million accounts with assets totaling approximately $441 billion.

The firms are new to Portsmouth and were attracted to Portwalk Place because it offers onsite parking and a convenient downtown location. The offices will create dozens of new jobs and add to the vibrancy of Maplewood Avenue.

Aria at Portwalk Place’s modern lofts, one, two, and three bedroom apartment homes have attracted a mix demographic of baby boomers, empty nesters, and young professionals. Prior to the opening, future residents leased more than 50% of the apartments, and all have moved in. A limited selection of apartments remains and those interested in leasing are encouraged to select an apartment quickly. Leasing starts at $1770/mo.
