Redhook to Pay Less OSHA Fines

Redhook Ale Brewery reaches settlement with federal agency in death of Redhook worker in April.

Redhook Ale Brewery will pay $20,000 less fines than the $63,500 initially ordered by the federal Occupational Safety Health Administration earlier this year following its investigation into the death of a Redhook worker in April.

According to Foster's Daily Democrat, Craft Brew Alliance, Redhook's parent company, reached a settlement with the federal agency that calls for it to pay $44,500 in fines and to have additional time to comply with the safety violations that were cited during OSHA's six month investigation.
