Rock the Rep to Benefit Hurricane Sandy Victims
Tim McCoy and The Papercuts and Red Sky Mary to perform Saturday night at the Seacoast Repertory Theatre.

Portsmouth area residents who would like to help Hurricane Sandy victims in New York and New Jersey can do it by enjoying some Rock n' Roll at the Seacoast Repertory Theatre this Saturday night.
As part of the theatre's Rock the Rep series, Tim McCoy and The Papercuts and Red Sky Mary will be performing a benefit concert at 8 p.m. where they donate a portion of the proceeds to the American Red Cross Hurricane Sandy relief effort, according to the Rep's web site.
Since Hurricane Sandy struck on Oct. 30., it left hundreds of thousands of people in New Jersey and New York without power, shelter and warmth. A nor'easter that headed up the East Coast on Wednesday has compounded the relief effort by dumping snow in the hardest hit areas. Hurricane Sandy was also felt here in the Portsmouth area, but not nearly as bad as it was in those two states.
