Rotary Club's Christmas Tree Sale Begins Saturday

Rotary's annual holiday tradition will offer great Christmas trees, wreaths and ornaments with the proceeds going to Portsmouth area charities.

Beginning Saturday, November 24, members of the Portsmouth Rotary Club will be selling Christmas trees at the Lafayette Plaza on Route 1, in Portsmouth as part of their annual fundraising initiatives. Frazer Fir, premium Balsam, regular Balsam (of various sizes including table top) trees will be sold through December 21, or until all the trees are gone. The sales lot will be open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

Wreaths and the official Portsmouth Rotary 2012 commemorative ornament will also be for sale. Cash, checks and credit cards graciously accepted.

The Portsmouth Rotary Club was chartered in 1923 and leads fundraisers throughout the year to support worthwhile charities that make a positive difference in people’s lives.
