Rye Man Charged with Drug Sales
Portsmouth Police supplied the following arrest information.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Wednesday, Oct. 24 through Sunday, Oct. 28.
Wednesday:
- At 5:24 p.m., police arrested a Rye man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice. Robert Kennedy, 49, of 605 Brackett Road in Rye was wanted for sale of controlled narcotic drugs and driving after revocation or suspension.
- At 10:07 p.m., police reported a theft of some cash from a cash register at a Woodbury Avenue business.

- At 12:32 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Broad Street after the caller said a back window was smashed on a vehicle.
- At 5:32 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth woman who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after she turned herself in at the police station. Crystal Dufault, 30, of 600 Lafayette Road in Portsmouth was wanted for theft of lost or mislaid property.
- At 6:04 p.m., police reported a car versus a bicycle accident where a 9-year-old child was struck on Edmond Avenue. A 10-year-old juvenile was taken into protective custody after being charged with placing a child in danger.
Friday:
- At 10:05 a.m., police reported the theft of a political sign on Middle Street.
- At 3:48 p.m., police arrested a Rochester man for disorderly conduct on State Street. Douglas Martin, 49, of 22 Sherman St. in Rochester was charged with two counts of criminal threatening, simple assault and disorderly conduct.

- At 12:40 a.m., police arrested a Boxford, Mass., man on Middle Street after a caller reported some suspicious activity. Conor McBrierty, 22, of 10 Cold Spring Drive in Boxford, Mass., was charged with criminal trespassing.
- At 6:57 a.m., police reported a kidnapping on Borthwick Avenue after the caller said someone had forced him into his car and tried to strangle him.
- At 12:51 p.m., police arrested two people who were wanted as fugitives from justice on Gosling Road. Samantha Chamberlain, 19, of 75 Baxter Place in Alton was wanted on a bench warrant. Troy P. Welch, 23, of address unknown in Portsmouth was also wanted on a bench warrant.
- At 1:51 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth woman for failure to license her dog. Shanna L. Hogan, 33, of 6 Weald Road was charged with violation two city ordinances for failure to license her dog and failure to get the dog a required rabies vaccination.
- At 1:59 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man on Brewster Street who was wanted as a fugitive from justice. Marcus G. Baez, 22, of 30 Brewster St., Apt. 11, in Portsmouth was wanted on two bench warrants.
- At 5:04 p.m., police arrested a North Hampton man as a fugitive from justice after he turned himself in at the police station. Andrew D. Farla, 27, of 78 South Road in North Hampton was wanted on four counts of wilfull concealment.
- At 5:06 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Congress Street after the caller said someone stole some flags on a roof and damaged the flag poles. The flags are valued at $125.
- At 10:16 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man for motor vehicle offenses on Greenland Road and Islington Street. Sean A. Miller, 18, of 15 Wedgewood Road in Portsmouth was charged with operating with a suspended registration and driving after revocation or suspension.
Sunday:
- At 12:20 a.m., police arrested an Epping man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice on Oak Avenue and Pinecrest Terrace. Geoffrey James, 25, of 70 Pleasant St., Apt. 7, in Epping was wanted on a bench warrant.
