Seacoast Dermatology to Offer Free Skin Cancer Screenings

Seacoast Dermatology will offer two free skin cancer screening events during National Melanoma and Skin Cancer Awareness Month in May.

From Seacoast Dermatology: The month of May is National Melanoma and Skin Cancer Awareness Month. Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the United States and current estimates are that one in five Americans will develop skin cancer in their lifetime .

“Unlike other cancers, skin cancer can be detected by a dermatologist during a visual examination of your skin,” said Dr. Andrew E. Werchniak. “A skin cancer screening only takes a few minutes and can save your life.”

Seacoast Dermatology PLLC is offering two free skin cancer screening events in May:

  • Dover: Monday, May 1st from 1:30pm - 7pm. Doctor’s Park Building, 17 Old Rollinsford Rd., Building A.
  • Portsmouth: Thursday, May 18th from 1pm - 5pm. Jackson Grey Medical Building, 330 Borthwick Ave, Suite 303.
