Service Credit Union Gives Back
Portsmouth-based firm donates 220 gift certificates for turkeys worth $4,400.

Service Credit Union donated 220 food gift certificates for turkeys worth $4,400 to local Salvation Armies and Food Pantries in the communities where the credit union serves members. Service Credit Union Vice President of Marketing Karen Benedetti along with local branch officials kicked off the weeklong of donations by contributing 100 food vouchers to the Portsmouth Salvation Army Tuesday morning.
This is the sixth consecutive year, Service Credit Union contributed to charitable food centers in New Hampshire for the Thanksgiving holiday. The credit union also donated gift cards and food baskets to families in need on U.S. military installations in Germany.
The Rochester Salvation Army and the Somersworth Community Food Pantry will get 50 food vouchers each, while the Salem Food Pantry will receive 20 turkeys and 20 food gift certificates.

Service Credit Union’s holiday giving campaign is highlighted by a food and monetary donation to the New Hampshire Food Bank. The credit union collected non perishable food items from all of its branches in New Hampshire and one in Falmouth, Ma.
