Skateboaders Steal Child's Halloween Candy
The following information was provided by the Portsmouth Police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Wednesday, Oct. 30.
Wednesday:
- At 10:21 a.m., police reported a two-car accident on Peverly Hill Road and West Road without injuries.
- At 11:01 a.m., police reported a theft on Grafton Road after the caller said someone broke into his car.
- At 11:06 a.m., police reported criminal mischief on Marcy Street after the caller said someone pulled some shingles off the the side of a building and caused about $20 worth of damage.
- At 12:13 p.m., police reported a two-car accident on Corporate Drive without injury.
- At 1:50 p.m., police reported a theft of some tires valued at $1,500 on Durgin Lane.
- At 7:06 p.m., police reported a theft on Winter Street after the caller told police some kids on skateboards took a little kid's Halloween candy.
- At 7:43 p.m., police reported a domestic incident on State Street where the male subject who was involved left the residence before police arrived and could not be located.
- At 9:49 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Pleasant Street after the caller said someone threw a pumpkin at their front window.
- At 10:07 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Sagamore Avenue after the caller said someone threw a large rock through a second floor window and nearly struck his daughter who was in bed.
