Three Ships Working on the Piscataqua
The High Enterprise, Nord Tradition and Baltic Pearl were all busy on the Portsmouth waterfront Thursday afternoon.
If anyone questions whether Portsmouth has a working waterfront, their doubts would have been put to rest quickly on Thursday afternoon when the crews of three large ships were engaged on the Piscataqua River.
While the Baltic Pearl was off-loading a cargo of salt at Granite State Minerals, the High Enterprise of Panama was making her way up river with the help of the Moran Towing tugboats to the Irving Oil terminals.
Along the way, she passed another Panamanian vessel, the Nord Tradition, that was off-loading cargo at the New Hampshire State Pier. What follows is a video shot from the Isles of Shoals Steamship Co. parking lot on Market Street.
