After Trent Weston was shot, troopers found a dead child inside his vehicle. The child was later identified as Benson Weston, 8, the couple’s son. A Maine medical examiner confirmed Benson Weston was killed due to multiple gunshot wounds.
“At this time,” Garrity said, “all evidence indicates that Mr. Weston is responsible for the deaths of both Britanny and Benson Weston. Further information will be provided if and when it becomes available while protecting the integrity of the investigation.”
