Two City Residents Arrested on Drug and Alcohol Charges

Portsmouth Police supplied the following arrest information.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Thursday, Nov. 22 through Saturday, Nov. 24.

Thursday:

  • At 1:13 a.m., police arrested a Kittery, Maine man for drunken driving on Congress Street. Tyler Edwards, 23, of 9 Payne Road in Kittery, Maine was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated.
  • At 1:37 a.m., police reported a theft at the High/Hanover Parking Garage when the driver of a green station wagon left without paying.
  • At 3:54 p.m., police arrested a Portland, Maine man following a domestic incident on Union Street. Dustin M. Lemelin, 24, of 32 Winter St. in Portland, Maine was charged with second-degree assault, two counts of criminal mischief (vandalism) and simple assault.

  • At 3:52 a.m., police reported a burglary on White Cedar Boulevard after the caller said someone entered his residence and stole a credit card.
  • At 12:27 p.m., police reported shoplifting at Vaughn Mall.
  • At 3:12 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man on theft charges on Woodbury Avenue. Robert Patrick Chase, 26, of 229 Raleigh Way in Portsmouth was charged with theft (removing merchandise from the premises) and possession of controlled narcotic drugs.
  • At 9:31 p.m., police reported a burglary on Oak Street after the caller said he returned home and found his residence trashed.

Saturday:

  • At 12:24 a.m., police reported a simple assault after the caller said a bouncer threw him down a flight of stairs at a Hanover Street restaurant/bar.
  • At 2:20 p.m., police arrested two city residents on the Route 1 Bypass northbound for drug and alcohol charges. Michelle Lien, 18, of 423 Peverly Hill Road in Portsmouth was charged with unlawful possession of alcohol and possession of controlled narcotic drugs. Christopher Peters, 18, of 725 Colonial Drive in Portsmouth was charged with transportation of alcoholic beverages by a minor and possession of controlled narcotic drugs.
  • At 10:01 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth woman following a domestic incident on Holiday Drive. Katelynn Surles Millard, 20, of 46 Gosling Road in Portsmouth was charged with simple assault and receiving stolen property.
