People at the scene rushed to help Wyman, moved the UTV off him, and immediately rendered aid, but, unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries. According to conservation officers, the passenger was taken to Portsmouth Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Wyman was not wearing a helmet or a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The investigation into the exact cause of the crash is still ongoing, but speed is believed to be a contributing factor, according to Fish and Game Sgt. Kevin Bronson.
