What Caused the 5-Alarm Fire on Bow Street?

WMUR reports that Portsmouth fire investigators are focusing on the chimney.

Portsmouth fire investigators believe the 5-alarm fire at the Bow Street condominiums at One Harbour Place on Friday night started in a chimney and spread to the roof and several units.

WMUR reported the fire has left more than a dozen residents homeless after the fire caused a portion of the roof to collapse and extensive water and smoke damage.

More than 20 Seacoast area fire departments battled the fire in the 18-unit waterfront condominium building for more than three hours on Friday before knocking it down shortly after 10 p.m.
