When Will The Station Return?

Restaurant owner says she is looking at the summer of 2014.

When Michelle Lozuaway decided to open a pop up restaurant in the former Rosa parking lot last summer, she was delighted with the positive response The Station received.

She said The Station saw a steady stream of Portsmouth area residents and visitors come to the establishment to enjoy beer and several menu items from STREET, the Islington Street restaurant that she also co-owns.

But despite the success The Station enjoyed last summer, Lozuaway said they won't be able to bring it back this summer. LLC, is moving ahead with his plans to redevelop the former Rosa parking lot into a new upscale building with retail shops and luxury condominiums.

"We definitely would like to. The Station became so loved," said Lozuaway. “It won’t be this summer, but possibly next summer.”

She said she is already talking to one property owner about a possible site they could lease in the summer of 2014 that would not be too far away from The Station's previous site.
