Where is Best Place to Watch the Tall Ships Parade?
Portsmouth is blessed to have many great vantage points to enjoy Friday afternoon's Parade of Sail without ever having to leave dry land.

The Coast Guard ship Eagle is scheduled to arrive in the city in the Sail Portsmouth Parade of Sail at 4 p.m. on Friday, but where is the best place to watch this majestic vessel make her way into the Portsmouth Harbor?
Here are a few suggestions that might work well for Portsmouth area residents and visitors:
Prescott Park: With plenty of space and clear views of Portsmouth Harbor, Prescott Park is always a good bet to watch the Sail Portsmouth Tall Ships parade either from the two piers or along the fenced in areas.
Four Tree Island: Located on Pierce Island, Four Tree Island is one of the best vantage points to watch the Eagle, Piscataqua Gundalow and Portsmouth Fire Boat make their way up the Piscataqua River. There is plenty of space and picnic tables for those who wish to enjoy some al fresco dining in the park.
One Harbour Place: The outdoor terrace at One Harbour Place located off of Bow Street is a great spot to watch the Eagle sail under the new Memorial Bridge lift span and toward the New Hampshire Pier on Market Street.
Fort Constitution: Located in New Castle next to the Coast Guard Station, the Fort Constitution historic site is a great place to watch the Eagle and other ships get into formation at the mouth of the Piscataqua River before they make their way up river.
