Many of the Meat House's New Hampshire stores abruptly closed this week, leaving customers wondering what's going on.
According to WMUR, Meat House stores in Portsmouth, Stratham and Bedford and Pembroke are all closed, while the locations in Dover and Amherst remain open. The company's co-owner said the stores are just closed for renovations and will reopen in 2 to 4 weeks. But WMUR said the company was recently sued by investors who claim the company is in breach of a repayment agreement.
