You Ask... Patch Answers: When Will Rosa Reopen?

Interior renovations on the Rosa restaurant on State Street are continuing at a rapid pace after contractors recently completely the exterior work to refurbish the iconic Portsmouth eatery, but when will the Rosa reopen to the dining public?

This is the exact question that Greg, a Portsmouth resident, asked: "I can see that they have done a lot of work on the Rosa and I remember the owners said it would reopen this summer, but do you know when it will reopen?"

Great question, Greg. Here is what we found out.

According to the Rosa's ownership team, the restaurant is shooting for a late summer opening, which could be close to Labor Day Weekend if all of the required work is completed on schedule. Portsmouth Patch received a similar answer earlier this summer when we inquired about the Rosa's reopening. With any luck, the Rosa will reopen sooner rather than later.
