Concord's Crimson Tide Places 2nd At 2025 Salem Blue Devil Tournament: New Hampshire Wrestling Results

Salem places 5th, Bedford 6th; Exeter wins at ConVal; Londonderry 2nd, Merrimack 6th at JV tourney; Amherst, Milford 2nd at Sawyer tourney.

SALEM, NH — Hundreds of boys and girls participated in the annual Salem Blue Devil Classic wrestling tournament on Saturday.

Seventeen schools participated in the co-ed bouts, while 16 schools sent girls to the tournament.

In the co-ed division, Shawsheen placed first with 312.5 points while Concord High School came in second with 186. Massabesic was third. Salem was fifth, Bedford came in sixth, Goffstown was seventh, Bow was ninth, and Nashua South was 12th. Windham was 14th while the Blue Devils club was 17th. For the girls, Massabesic was first with 98 points, Salem second at 72, and Whittier third with 54. Goffstown was 50.5, Bedford was fifth at 43.5, and Concord was sixth with 42 points. Merrimack came in eighth, Exeter was 11th, Windham was 14th, Bow was 15th, and Nashua South was 16th.

Nick Zeras JV Rumble In Concord

Eight schools sent wrestlers to Concord for the Nick Zeras JV Rumble.

Concord won the tourney on points with 315, followed by Londonderry in second with 205 and Bow in third with 138. Phillips Exeter Academy was fourth at 127 points, while Goffstown had 115. Merrimack scored 99 points, followed by Winnisquam at 58 and Prospect Mountain Regional High School with 53. There were 25 weight classes.

Tom Sawyer Invitational In Amherst

The second annual event was held at Souhegan High School on Saturday.

Nineteen schools participated in the co-ed bouts, while five schools had girls competing in their own matches.

In the co-ed division, Hollis Brookline placed first with 145.5 points while Milford and Souhegan tied for second with 13.8.5 points. Timberland came in fourth with 134.5, and Middlebury, Vermont, placed fifth at 129. Manchester West was sixth at 124.5. Portsmouth came in seventh, Manchester Memorial placed ninth, Nashua North was 11th, and Winnacunnet was 12th. Merrimack came in 13th, Trinity placed 15th, and Manchester Central was 16th.

In the girls division, Macoma Valley came in first, Manchester Memorial placed second, Milford was third, Souhegan fourth, and Manchester West fifth.

ConVal also hosted a tourney on Saturday, with 23 schools sending wrestlers.

Exeter placed first with 202 points, with Bishop Guertin coming in fourth with 142. Bedford placed 16th, while Hopkinton placed 19th, Milford came in 20th, and Franklin placed 21st.
