Four People Ejected From Single-Vehicle Windham Crash On Interstate 93
NH State Police, Windham and Derry Fire, and NH DOT worked at the scene for several hours. Traffic was backed up southbound for miles.
WINDHAM, NH — Windham and Derry Fire, and New Hampshire State Police responded to a report of a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 93 south just south of Exit 3 Friday.
Crews arrived at about 1 p.m. at Mile Marker 5 and found four people on the ground that had ejected from the vehicle. The Kia Sorento had veered from the far left of the highway crossing all lanes and exiting the roadway on the right side. When leaving the highway it rolled over several times, ejecting the occupants and items from inside the car.
Four people were transported to Massachusetts and New Hampshire hospitals with what were described as potentially severe and life-threatening injuries.

Traffic backed up for miles on Interstate 93 due to the closure of the right travel lanes.
New Hampshire State Police remained at the scene investigating for several hours. They were taking measurements and utilizing a drone to document the scene spread across a large area.

The accident scene was cleared at about 5:30 p.m., according to state police.
