Services Held for Snyder on Jan. 7
Windham resident served in the Navy during World War II and was the owner of Snyder Machine Co. and Rusty Relics in Saugus, MA.

WINDHAM, NH – Henry R. Snyder, 90, the husband of the late Pauline (Marney) Snyder and husband of Betty Hartling of Windham, died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015, at Kindred Greenbiar in Nashua.
He was born in Medford, MA, on July 25, 1925, a son of the late Percy Roy and Hattie (Demoine) Snyder and lived in Medford, Lynn, Lynnfield and Billerica, MA, before moving to Windham and Naples, FL.
Mr. Snyder served in the US Navy during WWII and was the owner of Snyder Machine Co. of Saugus which he established in 1955 in Lynn and moved to Saugus in 1963. In 1962 he developed the first flute for H. B. Reese’s Co.

Mr. Snyder owned Rusty Relics in Saugus, was active in Shriner’s and Rotary and was the past president, was a member of the North Shore Old Car Club for more than 30 years and the Packard Club.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Karen S. Flynn of Davie, FL; one grandson, Don R. Flynn of San Diego, CA; one step-daughter, Cindy Guy of Manchester; one step-son, Dean Hartling of Beverly, MA; one brother Warren P. Snyder of Rochester and his nephews Warren Snyder of Chelmsford, MA, and Robert Snyder of Rochester. He was the brother of the late June Kayser and Phyllis Peers.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at noon. Visiting hours will be held form 10:30 a.m. until noon prior to the service. Burial in FoxHill Cemetery, Billerica, MA.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02114
