State police confirmed that a 23-year-old Massachusetts woman transported to Lawrence General Hospital died of injuries sustained in the accident. No name was released for the woman who passed away. Multiple sources indicate the victim was a passenger in the vehicle.

A large debris field surrounded the heavily damaged Kia Sorento that had veered from the far left of the highway crossing all lanes and exiting the roadway on the right side.
When leaving the highway it rolled over several times, ejecting the occupants and items from inside the car.

Several pieces of US Currency was seen blowing around the scene, backpacks, and books on the ground as well as a skateboard. A large bag of money was gathered from the ground and the vehicle and secured in a plastic evidence bag in one of the state police cruisers.

Traffic backed up for miles on Interstate 93 due to the closure of the right travel lanes.

New Hampshire State Police remained at the scene investigating for several hours taking measurements and utilizing a drone to document the scene spread across a large area. The accident scene was cleared at about 5:30 p.m., according to state police.

Information on the name of the driver and occupants has been requested from state police several times, but at this time no information on the accident has been released.
