Chances of showers and thunderstorms are limited, and any severe weather that develops is expected to dissipate this evening with the loss of daytime heating, the National Weather Service added. Rainfall amounts “remain in the 2-inch neighborhood” as part of localized downpours possible with any thunderstorms.
The excessive heat should continue through Wednesday, which is also expected to see probable showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon, according to AccuWeather.
