Flash Flood Warning Issued Thursday In Parts Of NJ
Thursday won't be as severe as the rest of the week has been, but New Jersey can still expect some heavy rain and flooding, forecasters say.
A flash flood warning is in place Thursday afternoon as heavy rain hits the state, according to the National Weather Service.
The warning is in effect until 5:45 p.m. in central Atlantic County and northeastern Cumberland County. Between 1 to 2 inches of rain have already fallen in the area, according to trained weather spotters, and flash flooding is already occurring as of 2 p.m.
Areas that may experience flash flooding include Vineland, Millville, Egg Harbor City and Mays Landing.

Drivers who encounter flooded areas are urged to turn around, as most flood deaths happen in vehicles, the National Weather Service said.

Temperatures Thursday will be in the 80s but it will still feel muggy.

Though forecasters say we're getting out of the stormiest part of this latest weather pattern, Friday and Saturday could see some afternoon storms.
Into next week, a stormy pattern returns. Sunday and Monday could see more rain.
"This is probably our biggest severe/flood risk through the forecast period," the National Weather Service said.
