NJ Man Accused Of Threatening To Kill Governor Arrested In Florida
The 53-year-old man was taken into custody Sunday during a traffic stop in Walton County, Florida.

WALTON COUNTY, FL — A New Jersey man accused of threatening to kill Gov. Phil Murphy was arrested in Florida over the weekend, according to authorities.
A U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested 53-year-old Russ Semeran on Sunday, the Walton County Sheriff's Office said in a statement. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop after authorities spotted him riding his motorcycle in the city of Freeport, which is located in Walton County.
Freeport is located in Florida's panhandle, about 130 miles from Tallahassee.

Authorities said Semeran was wanted by the New Jersey State Police Counter Terrorism Bureau for making terroristic threats, where he threatened to kill Murphy. Police did not provide specific details about the threats.
Semeran was taken to Walton County Jail and is awaiting extradition to New Jersey. Florida authorities also impounded his motorcycle, SUV and RV, police said.
