Woman Hit By Driver While Crossing Road In Union County

CRANFORD, NJ - A 77-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street at Lincoln Ave. and High Street on Tuesday evening.

Cranford Police say the woman was in the crosswalk when she was struck shortly after 5:40 p.m. The driver of the grey Honda Civic was the only one in the vehicle at the time, and was not hurt in the crash.

The woman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
