Colts Neck Church Guild Sponsors Mindfulness Speaker
St. Mary's Martha Mary Guild has a special speaker tomorrow to help women's health.
COLTS NECK, NJ - St. Mary's Martha Mary Guild is sponsoring a talk tomorrow by Dr. Carol A. Penn, a physician specializing in Integrative Family Practice Medicine with a focus on mind-body medicine: arts medicine; and nutrition medicine with an emphasis on prevention and wellness to optimize health.
Penn will emphasize mindfulness and mind, body and spirit connections. Mindfullness study is popular among people seeking a more balanced life.
Penn also is an award-winning choreographer, who trained with New York’s Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
Participants are invited to say the rosary in the chapel located behind the church at 11:30 a.m. Bring your own lunch, which begins at noon and the guild will provide refreshments.
Penn will begin around 12:30 p.m. The church is located at One Phalanx Road in Colts Neck 07720.
