ASBURY PARK – The Berkeley Hotel has announced that it will be hosting a new, interactive Halloween-themed Instagram pop-up museum throughout the month of October.

And The Haunting at Asbury Park is a fully COVID-compliant experience, according to a release from organizers.

"We're absolutely thrilled to be bringing this unique one-of-a-kind experience to the Berkeley," said Albie Manzo, food and beverage partner for the Asbury Park mainstay. "This immersive haunted hotel event is a really cool activation that works extremely well under the guidance we are given by the state.

"Finding ways to get creative and provide a fun, safe experience in this time is a challenge we embrace and a responsibility we take seriously. We can still have the best type of fun — Halloween fun — and do it safely."

Guests checking into The Haunting experience will be guided through 13 immersive haunted hotel rooms, according to the release.

You and your group will tour through the sealed off haunted floors of the hotel, through 13 Halloween scenes (cameras out), complete with unexpected frights, spine-tingling thrills, and surprises around every corner.

The 21+ VIP experience features seating at the exclusive Halloween speakeasy inclusive of a welcome cocktail, passed appetizers, and spooky drink specials, according to the release.

"We're stoked to partner with the Berkeley Hotel to provide the local community with a chance to safely immerse themselves in an amazing Halloween experience," said Pop-Up Agency president and co-founder Marcus Howard.

The Berkeley Hotel will also be offering room rate specials for those who wish to take their
immersive Halloween experience to the next level. Tickets start at $50 and can be purchased on the event's official website, thehauntingasbury.com.
